Well… Madhaniya is a Punjabi word.. Its come from Indo Pak Fusion and is Very old.. It refers to d beloved one. So wen u call ur beloved one or darling Madhaniya… !

Actually madhaniyan refers to the churning staff women use when churning milk – it is a household item but used in punjabi folk music as it represented the women and their work.
there is a beautiful rendition when anushka sharma is shown in the movie for the first time on her wedding day – just one word madhaniyaan

I love this song! My newest addiction is Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi!! I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve cruised around youtube hunting for more videos of it, and I absolutely LOVE the songs!! First was Haule Haule, then Dance Pe chance, and now Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai!
I can’t WAIT to see the movie!! I sounds REALLY good!!

hi, it is not about this song directly but, i reaaly need this;
before tujh mein rab diktha hai, when raj were bringing taani back to her home, after shopping, an old punjabi song were background and i reaally loved it. i m not an indian and hardly understand hindi and cant understand the punjabi words in there but it can be kind of… uno … dil la karkee, phir mera dil .. bla bla.. i couldnt fing it anywhere, i dont know where to look.. please someone help mee =D
